Because a voice coil motor system is adopted, the measuring force can be set as required.
The measuring time (load retention) can also be set as required, and it is possible to measure soft workpieces that could not be measured under the conventional hardness standards.
Strengths of the Product
Use of a voice coil motor in the load generator section makes it possible to set the load in accordance with the workpiece being measured. (*1) The ability to set low loads of from 0.002 N upward has enabled measurement of soft workpieces that could not have been handled with conventional instruments.
The stress relaxation time of the workpiece can be determined. The measuring time can also be set as required, so it is even possible to quantify the softness of gel-like materials that have no resilience.
Measuring data can be managed easily using dedicated measuring software [AMHT-Dview]. And because you can check the relationship between time and deformation (hardness) in graph form, the instrument can be used to evaluate physical characteristics.
The measuring head lifts and descends automatically, so even large workpieces of around 100 mm can be measured. Also note that the measuring stage can be customized, so you can design it to suit your workpieces.
The measuring probe can be detached or fitted in a one-touch operation, so it is easy to change the measuring probe to suit the workpieces to be measured.
A pass/fail judgment function is featured, with the liquid crystal backlight changing to green for OK and red for NG, and this function comes into its own in inspections in mass production.
